I named this page after the landing between the seventh and eighth floors where I sometimes pause to read a message before continuing up. The stairwell smells of paint and someone’s fried garlic. It is cooler than the corridor in the afternoon and louder in the evening when children race down with school bags.
These group headings are imprecise on purpose. A piece about a bus can belong to more than one hour. I filed each note where it felt truest when I read it again. If you are looking for something specific, use the cards on the slow hours landing — this archive is for wandering.
Nothing here is sponsored. Nothing is copied from the block chat without saying so. Dates refer to when I finished a draft, not necessarily when the event happened. One older note on the home page remains unchanged because I have not found a better way to rewrite it yet.
